We can also use MockMvc together with @SpringBootTest.

With this setup, we'll get our entire Spring application context populated and don't have to mock any service class. Such tests ensure the integration of multiple parts of your application (aka. integration tests):

@SpringBootTest
@AutoConfigureMockMvc
class ApplicationTests {

  @Autowired
  private MockMvc mockMvc;

  @Test
  public void shouldAllowDeletingReviewsWhenUserIsAdmin() throws Exception {
    this.mockMvc
      .perform(
        delete("/api/tasks/42")
          .with(SecurityMockMvcRequestPostProcessors.user("duke").roles("ADMIN", "SUPER_USER"))
          .with(csrf())
      )
      .andExpect(status().isOk());
  }
}
