the best way to do it is:
your file (client-side) must be encoded to base64 format,
then in the API (server-side), the encoded base64 string must be decoded to generate a file

no more using the "multipart/form-data" Content-Type header,
you can use the "application/json" Content-Type header to send files,
that's because the file has been encoded to base64 string data type

FYI:
DON'T EVER USE THE "GET" method, it will return the error code: (414 URI Too Long).
The POST method is the safest way
