Write your equations between two '$' dollar signs.
Inside the dollar signs use LaTeX syntax to write math symbols.
Examples:
1.
$ \int_{a}^{b} x^2 \,dx $ ## Output: Integral os x squared, from a to b, dx.
2.
$ v=\frac{\Delta{x}}{\Delta{t}} $ ##Output: v equals delta x over delta t.
## If you used to write equations in LaTeX, it's worth knowing that
## both double dollar signs "$$" and \begin{equation}\end{equation}
## won't work in markdown.
